Cards made with "Sun-Kissed" Sticker

A wonderful customer recently contacted us—enthusiastic over the our crafting stickers, "Sun-Kissed" in particular. Below are cards she made using this one sticker, and we wanted to share her creativity with you.

Greetings,
I really like the beautiful stickers that you offer. I recently began working with the "Sun-Kissed" sheet. They are lovely and lend themselves to many different designs. I wanted to share with you these cards that I designed using your "Sun-Kissed" stickers. Hope you keep the beautiful images coming...especially for those customers who don't like to color much.

Sincerely,
Ruth Jodarski

PB BUTTERFLY

This card was done with the left over sheer heaven paper that I used in the card in the last post. On top of the paper I sprayed more Tattered Angels glimmer mist in deep plum and meadow green. I swirled the wet color around with the end of my paint brush and let it dry. Then I stamped the butterfly (3359f flutter) in white and embossed with white. The sheer heaven is like vellum so it is sheer as it sais and so I mounted it over Penny Black paper - Antique script 70-043. I then mounted that to white card stock. I used a blank charm from 7 Gypsies and cut out a circle of the Antique script and stamped a P from the 20-006 Kate text lower case set. I mouted it into the charm and added diamond glaze. When it was dry I wrapped a metal thread around the butterfly piece with the charm and then assembled card. The cardstock used is actually a metallic eggplant color. The sheer heaven also has a mettalic sheen from the TA spray but it doesn't show in the scan. Angela

Happy Birthday

Hey everyone! Well I just took a class last week on using sheer heaven paper and Tim Holtz inks. It was so fun. I made this card using those techniques and Here is how I did it. Angela

3944h 365 days

Bazzill paper
Sheer Heaven by Cre-8-it!
Tattered Angels glimmer mist deep plum
Tim Holtz Adirondackcolor wash sprays - stream, lettuce, eggplant, cranberry
Versafine black ink pad
versacolor white ink pad
White embosssing powder
Versamark ink padrhinestones
Ranger non stick craft sheet

So first you will need to lay out your craft sheet and put away anything you don't want to get ink on. Cut a piece of sheer heaven down to about 4 x 5 inches. You will spray (keeping the sprayer right up to the craft sheet to prevent overspray) one spritz for each color on the sheet. Keep the colors separated but not too far apart. Maybe not more than one inch. Spritz the color with water. Spray your sheer heaven (on the satin side not the glossy side) with water. Lay your piece over the ink and spread the ink around by rubbing the paper. Before lifting it up heat it a little with your gun. Lift up paper, spritz a little of the glimmer mist over the piece and set aside to dry. You can take chroma coat white paper to soak up the rest of the ink and use in a later project. When your sheet is dry stamp the flowers with white add white embossing powder to the flower heads and emboss. You can take a paint brush and wipe off the embossing powder from the stems before you emboss. Stamp the scroll stamp with versamark on the yellow cardstock. Stamp happy birthday with black. Assemble card and add rhinestones. If you have any questions I will be checking your comments and get back to you asap.
